🔢 Flexible Invoice Numbering with QuickBooks Online Integration!

Hey there,

We’ve enhanced how invoice numbers work when using Cone with QuickBooks Online (QBO) — giving you better control and flexibility to match your accounting preferences

🎯 Choose how invoice numbers are managed
By default, Cone uses QBO’s invoice numbers. But now, you decide how your invoices get numbered

✅ Three flexible ways to manage invoice numbers

  1. Use QBO’s auto-generated numbering (default)
    — Let QBO handle the invoice numbering automatically based on your predefined sequence
  2. Use QBO’s custom transaction number setting
    — Enable custom transactions numbers in QBO and manually assign numbers there. Cone will pick up and sync the updates automatically
  3. Let Cone generate invoice numbers
    — Prefer to manage your numbering directly in Cone? Enable this, and Cone will create invoice numbers that sync directly to QBO

🔄 Automatic syncing
Once set up, invoice numbers are kept in sync—whether updated manually in QBO or generated through Cone
